Graduated from UNAM (National School of Music) / CDMX, Mexico, Ivonne Revah Lacouture is a mexican percussionist active with 40 years of experience, in the areas of Classical Music (Symphonic Orchestras, Chamber Orchestras, Ballet, Opera, Chamber Music Ensembles for Percussion Instruments), Popular Music (Recordings, TV Programs, Musical Theater, Percussion Ensembles) and in the teaching area she was part of of the Esperanza Azteca - Progreso - YUC project (2012-2018) teaching face-to-face classes of percussion instruments and as coordinator of wind and percussion ensembles. She currently teaching in the project of the Mtra. Alondra de la Parra (Orquesta Armonia Social) and gives private classes, workshops, and Online lessons in his own educational project Percussion Coach Institute. Active percussionist of the Yucatan Symphony Orchestra (OSY) since 2010 to the present. Founder of the Carlos Chávez Symphony Orchestra where she participated as Timbalist and Principal Percussionist 1990 to 2007. Founder of the Women's Symphony Orchestra of the New Millennium 2003 and of the Symphony of Women FIM Cancun 2016. In both Orchestras he works as Timbalist and Principal Percussionist. As Soloist she has been invited by the Yucatan Symphony Orchestra in the World Premiere of the work "A Hebrew Rhapsody" by the composer Leroy Osmon, USA and with the Carlos Chávez Symphony Orchestra with works by Bela Bartok - She has been invited to play with the most important symphonic groups in the country (1990 to today) such as the Chamber Orchestras of Fine Arts, National Symphony, Philharmonic of Mexico City, Philharmonic of the UNAM, Symphony Orchestra of the State of Mexico, Quintana Roo Symphony Orchestra, Cancun Symphony Orchestra. He has participated in the Cervantino Festival (from 2003 to the present), in the Festival Music International in Morelia (2008) at the Valle de Bravo Festival. Ivonne Revah played in recording sessions and tours throughout Mexico, Europe and the United States with the National Symphony Orchestra of Mexico and with the Carlos Chávez Symphony Orchestra
